Growing conditions: 

Characteristically unpredictable Central Otago growing conditions bookended by frost events. Overall, a cool, settled season with good rainfall resulting in long, gentle development of flavour and physiological ripeness. Budburst, flowering and fruit set all right on schedule this year for our cool climate region.

Tasting Note
Complex nose of orange, nashi pear, cantaloupe and clover honey, with a spice note of fresh ginger. Palate follows through with apple pie spice and apple blossom perfume, fine linear acidity lending length and focus, and finishing with river stone minerality.

"In 2019, our RUA Pinot Gris comes from a single block in our Felton Terraces vineyard, Maia. It’s exciting to see a pure expression of this site which is showing complex spice and exotic fruit character.”
