STYLE

Inspired by the great ice wines of Canada, Germany and Austria, our Alchemy Ice is a sweet dessert ice-wine style. The grapes are harvested at optimum acidity and flavour. They are then sent to a blast freezer and pressed while frozen. Beautifully balanced with natural acidity and sugars, it is a wonderful match with pâté, blue cheese or Pavlova piled high with mango and passionfruit.

 

BOUQUET

Highly fragrant with exotic florals and tropical fruit.

 

PALATE

Made painstakingly in tiny quantities, Alchemy Ice strikes the perfect balance between intense richness and glacial purity. Complex with layers of lychee, apricot, and melon, trailing off to a beautiful lingering spicy finish.

 

CELLARING

Made to drink as a young wine but will cellar comfortably for 1- 10 years.
