Soil: Shallow and weakly structured fine loess topsoils overlaying schist.

Vine age: 13 Years

Trellis System: 2 cane VSP

Pruning: shoot thinned, leaf plucked and fruit thinned.

VINIFICATION

Picked: 27th March 2014

Pre-ferment maceration: 4 Days cold soak

Yeast: Innoculated – various strains

Fermentation Heat: Cool – less than 13°C

APPEARANCE

Pretty Candy floss pink.

STYLE

Off-dry

BOUQUET

Lifted strawberry with hints of watermelon.

PALATE

A fresh, light style of Rose with strawberries and cream across the palate. Hints of passionfruit and watermelon with a bright, long finish.

CELLARING

Made to drink as a young wine but will cellar comfortably for 1-3 years.

SERVING TEMPERATURE

Serve lightly chilled, the perfect summer wine.
