Soil: Bony broken schist with thin covering of weakly structured sandy loam. Irrigated.

Vine age:  7 Years

Trellis System: 2 cane VSP + Single Cordon Spur

Pruning: shoot thinned and leaf plucked by hand to carefully manage fruit exposure. Crop thinned to match vine vigour, approx 1.8kg/vine or 5.5 T/Ha

Picked 24th April 2013

Pre-ferment maceration: Whole Bunch Pressed

Yeast: Innoculated – various strains

Fermentation Heat: Cool – less than 13°C

Rich stone fruit aromatics.

PALATE

Rich stone fruit and citrus notes with great balance between fruit sweetness and acidity. Long and lingering finish.

Up to 10 years.
